How to capture 'Floating Boat'
|

Assalamualaikum kawan-kawan.
Mungkin tips ini ramai yang sudah tahu,tp ramai juga yang tidak pernah mencuba.Bukannya saya nak kata yang saya ni handal sgt ambik gambar ni, tapi saya cuma nak kongsi sedikit pengalaman dan tips untuk 'shoot' gambar sebegini.....
Kita biasa lihat gambar sebuah bot yang seakan-akan terapung diudara walaupun dibawahnya ada air.Bagaimana untuk kita dapatkan gambar seumpamanya. Tips yang saya nak bagi bukanlah satu-satunya cara,cuma 'salah-satu' cara hasil dr pengalaman saya yg tak seberapa.
Ada org pernah komen gambar ni, dia kata " gambar ni cantik,tapi sebabkan tempat tu(semporna) dah memang cantik,kalau semua orang pergi sana sudah tentu dapat gambar macam ni"...Adakah benar teori itu ? Kalau benarlah, kenapa dlam ramai-ramai (10 orang) yang shoot dari atas bot yang sama ketika ini,cuma saya saja yg dapat gambar "floating boat" macam ni?mungkin dia orang tak target pun gambar sebegini,tp bagi saya one of the target semasa outing ke sini adalah gambar 'floating boat' ini. Ia bukanlah sesenang yang di sangkakan....
OK. Firstly, items yang kita kena ada (selain dr yg basic mcm kamera dll): adalah "CPL- Filter" 
Kalau boleh belilah yg 'branded' sikit bukannya buatan china.....
1) Pasang CPL Filter kat lens (CPL bertujuan untuk menghilangkan 'reflection' dari air laut tersebut)
Pusingkan (adjust) CPL untuk dapatkan cahaya yg sesuai.
2) Angle unutk dapatkan 'shoot without reflection' adalah 45 degree. Maksudnya kedudukan lens kita bersudut 45 degree kepada objek.Sebab itu dalam ramai-ramai yang shoot dr atas bot tu cuma aku dan abang hus yang bertenggek kat atas muncung bot tu. Memang bahaya ,silap langkah boleh tercebur masuk laut dgn kamera sekali, tapi demi angle 45 degree,saya sanggup ambil risiko.
Ramai yg shoot dari perut bot yang dinaiki (angle kurang dari 45 degree),sebab tu tak dapat.
3) Buat 'bracketing' kat kamera -0.3ev,0,+0.3ev. Tapi kalau nak main bracketing ni make sure shutter speed tidak kurang dari 1/250 sec sebab dia kan main dgn speed dan exposer masa buat continuous shots.Kalau kita setting speed terlalu rendah mungkin pada -0.3ev speed terlalu perlahan (mungkin objek bergerak atau image blurr).
Tujuan bracketing ini utk tujuan safety sebab tahap ketelusan air laut dari sudut 45 degree juga bergantung pada keadaan cahaya pada masa itu yang sentiasa berubah-ubah setiap saat, bila mendung sikit agak sukar utuk tembusi air laut tu...so that's why saya guna braketting tersebut.
4)Kalu kita shoot dari atas jambatan senang sebab angle 45degree senang nak dapat.
5) Sudah barang tentu air laut mestilah jernih untuk dapatkan gambar 'floating' macam ni.
So itu saja kelas untuk hari ni,selamat mencuba....Layannn........

We are very pleased to inform you that among thousands of entries at The Epoch Times First Annual Photo Competition (2007), your work was some of the best. The competition judges have chosen it (sample attached) for the final round of selection. Regardless of how you place in the contest, your work will be showcased at an exhibition in New York City, which will open with the announcement of the final results. We will let you know the time and place in a later email. To qualify, please complete the requirements below.
The first round qualifiers need to provide original high resolution digital file(s) of your selected photo(s) by April 20, 2008. The resolution of your work should be no less than 200 dpi and the longer side of the picture should be no less than 3000 pixels, the file size should be no larger than 8 Mb. If your work(s) are unable to meet the minimum requirement, please provide the largest available, with an explanation. We will consider such cases individually. If the original is a slide or film negative, please provide a high resolution, professionally scanned copy – these are necessary for the judges to decide on the final contest winners. Not submitting the digital photo file by the above date will be considered as a withdrawal from the contest.

Walaupun kita ketahui bahawa 'isi perut' KL itu penuh dengan kekalutan,kebisingan,kesibukan,traffic jamn,hon kereta,kalut yang tak tentu masa............
Namun ia nampak 'begitu tenang' dari sini..................
